Graviola Tea and Promising Anti-Cancer Research

A world without cancer does not yet exist, but science is working hard to eradicate one of the most prolific diseases of our time.  There are almost too many cancers to count and the treatment of various types of cancer are unique to the organ and person it is affecting.  While man-made drugs have played a major role in improving cancer survival rates, researchers are looking to nature to help develop new and better ways to treat and prevent cancer.  One of the “hottest” plants on the list of potential anti-cancer aids is Graviola.

Graviola is part of the annonaceae family of plants that contain a unique combination of phyto-chemicals.  They are perhaps the holy grail of natural anti-cancer chemicals because they have shown incredible results for attacking, reducing and eliminating cancer cells in clinical trials performed on animals.  These chemicals are called annonaceous acetogenins and they are only found in annonacin family.  That makes Graviola a rare and valuable gem for anti-cancer research.  Additionally, Graviola is rich in antioxidants, especially Vitamin C, which are the go-to nutrients to fight free radicals that cause cancer.

There are over 40 acetogenins in the Graviola plant.  Several studies concluded that acetogenins have a toxic effect on cancer cells because they can inhibit the enzyme process only found in damaged tumor cells.  Moreover, annonaceous acetogenins do not harm healthy cells, unlike common cancer treatments including chemotherapy and radiation.  In fact, they have shown to kill tumors in cancer cells that have been resistant to chemotherapy and other cancer drugs.  This multi-drug resistance can make cancer spread and become deadly in some patients.  However acetogenins found in Graviola can block the energy source (ATP) of multi-drug resistant tumor cells and shut them down.  Without ATP to energize cells they cannot grow or multiply.  They die and slowly cancer dies with them.  Graviola was proven to be 10,000 times stronger at slowing cancer growth than drugs used in chemotherapy.

The National Cancer Institute’s plant screening program shows that Graviola may be effective in treating a variety of types of cancer including: lung cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer, colon cancer, liver cancer and lymphoma.  International research also reports Graviola may also support treatment for skin cancer, bladder cancer, ovarian cancer and cervical cancer.  While research is still underway to obtain more conclusive results and formal FDA approval as a standard treatment for cancer, Graviola is already being used by patients and health care providers as a supplemental treatment for cancer.
Graviola is also helps in alleviating other infections and illnesses.  It is used as an anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-parasitic, anti-rheumatic and cyctotoxic agent.  In the Western cultures it has been particularly effective against the herpes simplex virus.  In third world countries it can protect against bacterial and parasitic infections that are common in unsanitary conditions.
Cancer touches millions of lives every year.  No one knows what the future holds for themselves, but we can each take a step in protecting our bodies as best as possible.  Cancer is a potential threat for every person, no matter their age, race, gender or nationality.  With bioavailable Graviola tea, we can allow this powerful, promising anti-cancer plant to help us keep cancer at bay.
